These terms apply to the use of this website and to grooming services provided by Tidy Pet. Booking an appointment means accepting them.
1. What we provide
Mobile grooming for dogs and cats, carried out in an equipped vehicle at the address agreed with the client. Grooming is a cosmetic and hygiene service. It is not veterinary care, and nothing we say about your pet's coat, skin, ears or nails is a diagnosis.
2. Quotes and prices
Prices are quoted individually, based on the information you give us about your pet. A quote is an estimate based on that description. If the animal's size, coat condition or behaviour turns out to differ materially from what was described, we will tell you before continuing and agree any change with you. We will not increase a price after the work is done without having discussed it first.
3. Booking, cancellation and access
- Appointments are confirmed by us in writing or by phone. Submitting the website form is a request, not a booking.
- Please give as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- You are responsible for making sure the vehicle can park legally and safely near your address, and for arranging any access needed in gated or managed properties. If we cannot reach or park at the address at the agreed time, the appointment may be treated as a missed appointment.
- An adult must be present to hand over and collect the pet.
4. Your pet's health and behaviour
You agree to tell us, before the appointment, about any medical condition, medication, injury, infectious illness, parasite, allergy, past bite or aggression, and any previous incident at a groomer. This is a safety matter for your animal and for the groomer.
We may decline or stop a groom if an animal is unsafe to handle, is in distress, or appears unwell. Where a session is stopped part-way, you pay only for the work carried out.
We do not administer sedatives or any medication.
5. Matted coats
Removing tight matting can be painful and can reveal skin problems that were hidden underneath, including redness, sores or irritation. Where dematting would cause unnecessary suffering, the humane option is to clip the coat short. We will explain this and obtain your agreement before doing so. You accept that a clipped coat will look markedly different until it regrows, and that pre-existing skin conditions found under matting are not caused by the groom.
6. Risk
Grooming involves handling animals with sharp tools, water and dryers. Even with care, an animal that moves suddenly can be nicked or stressed. We take reasonable care at all times. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
7. Vaccinations
You confirm that your pet's vaccinations are current and agree to provide records on request.
8. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the appointment unless agreed otherwise in writing.
9. Photographs
We will not publish identifiable photographs of your pet without your permission. Photographs currently shown on this website are stock reference images and do not depict our clients.
10. This website

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of its competent courts.
